Andrew Gray made it onto the BBC website with some of his his views and hopes while out in China at the Special Olympics World Summer Games in Shanghai.

Update on 8th October
No detailed report yet, but Andrew had a great swim in his 100 free on Sunday 6th to take overall 5th place with a new PB in 1.16.39. Well done Andrew, we look forward to hearing a more detailed report on his return from China.
Update on 10th October
Latest news is even better as Andrew captured the ultimate prize taking gold in the 25m fly with another PB of 17.35sec to make it a double gold for the British team after Ionusta Maclelland from Inverness had taken the womens 25fly in 23.22sec. These two golds made it number four and five for the British team in the Aquatics gold medal stakes.

The delight and pride is obvious on Andrew's face as he goes up to collect his gold medal

The bigger squad of family members / supporters who travelled out to China to support Andrew
To round things off, the relay team managed 4th position narrowly missing out on another medal.
